Medical Tube Flaring: We offer formed flares at the tips of protective sleeves to facilitate easy loading of delicate surgical instrument components.
Medical Tubing Flanges: Complex moulded flanges can be created on the ends of thermoplastic tubing through the precisely controlled re-flow of existing melt polymer. Special die tooling is micro machined to your custom design and we ensure no flash on critical contact surfaces of the tube tip.
All the medical extrusions we source are produced in Class 8 clean rooms in accordance with ISO 13485:2016.
Precision custom die tooling for tube tip forming is nickel alloy or hardened stainless steel polished to a mirror finish. Dies can be non-stick coated for processing certain thermoplastics.
